The Ethscriptions protocol was launched in June 2023. I have been interested in this way to store digital artifacts on the Eth blockchain since the very beginning, but they had one major disadvantage: you can't give them their own title or description, a contextualization that is often crucial for the type of things I make. In recent months I have bothered several people several times with this problem: the need to be able to give Ethscriptions a title, to put them in collections, to give a description. And now that these things (and many more) are finally possible, it seems only appropriate to release one of the only reference-less, untitled works I ever made as an Open Edition. Originally I gave the image one dot as a title because I couldn't think of anything better, now I call it A.
